Marlen MACCVS 1997 Rollerball: Rare Ebonite and Sterling Silver

The Marlen MACCVS 1997 Rollerball Pen is a prestigious limited edition writing instrument, celebrated by collectors for its exceptional design and rare materials.

This pen pays tribute to the ancient Italian theater tradition, specifically honoring Maccus, the comedic “joker” figure from pre-Latin tales. This historical inspiration showcases Marlen’s dedication to blending Italian cultural history with master craftsmanship.

Premium Materials and Collectible Design

The MACCVS Rollerball is constructed to the highest standards, ensuring both quality and a luxurious writing experience:

• Premium Construction: The substantial, oversized barrel is hand-turned from fine Ebonite hard rubber. Ebonite is a highly sought-after material for pens, often presented in striking woodgrain colors (such as blue, green, or garnet).

• Sterling Silver Trim: All metal appointmentsincluding the cap bands and the distinctively shaped clipare made from authentic .925 sterling silver. This material confirms the pens high-end quality and adds significant value.

• Ergonomics: Despite its substantial size, the pen’s oversized profile is carefully balanced, making it incredibly comfortable for extended writing sessions.

The Marlen MACCVS 1997 Rollerball is a perfect acquisition for those seeking a rare, Italian-made pen that successfully combines historical significance with solid sterling silver luxury.
